TRWA staff members work hard to influence legal and legislative matters that have an impact on water systems in Texas. The association employs a full-time attorney to undertake legal action on matters that adversely affect water systems. TRWA also maintains a legal defense fund to assist members with legal advice and representation. In addition, TRWA employs full-time lobbyists to promote favorable legislation on the state and federal level.
